Project / Portfolio 2

Connect the diary entries to science lessons on seasons, weather patterns, and the impact of climate on flora and fauna.

Exploring Seasons Through Ruskin Bond's Diary Entries

In Ruskin Bond's diary entries, we journey through the hills and experience the changing seasons. Each entry teaches us about the weather patterns and their impact on nature.

During summer, we learn about sunny days and warm temperatures. We can relate this to our science lesson on how the sun's rays affect the weather and make plants grow.

In the monsoon, we see heavy rainfall and misty days. We can study how rain is essential for plants and animals, and how mist affects visibility and temperature.

Autumn brings cooler weather and colorful leaves. We can explore how temperature changes affect the colors of leaves and how animals prepare for winter.

Winter brings snow and cold temperatures. We can learn about how animals adapt to survive in the cold and how snow affects the environment.

Finally, in spring, we see the rebirth of nature with blooming flowers and warmer days. We can study how temperature changes trigger the growth of new plants and the return of migratory birds.
